4th Wednesday in the month.

The First Meeting of the Book Group was on 14th February, 2022, at 2pm at McBoyle Hall and the leader was Lynda Cameron. The inaugural meeting was attended by eleven members.  We have read some interesting books.

This group usually meets on the  4th Wednesday of the month but this regular time can be changed, depending on the date of the regular u3a monthly meeting. Group members will be kept informed by email.

Currently this is a small group of 4 to 6 people and we cover different books as chosen and agreed by the group members.   To date (since the group resumed after a break) we have looked at "The Road Dance", "The Redemption of Alexander Seaton", "The Hunting Party" and "Holy Island".  We are not too serious about dissecting the content but simply give reasons why we liked or disliked the book.

Our current book is "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles
