Moray Coast u3a Welcome Page
The Moray Coast u3a is the local branch of the u3a for retired/semi-retired people living in the coastal areas between Banff and Elgin.
Formed in November 2011 the Moray Coast u3a has several active interest groups meeting on a regular basis. Go to the Groups page to learn more.
The Third Age Trust is the national representative body for all u3a branches in the UK.
U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work.
U3As provide opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
Many of our members make new, like minded, friends in addition to learning.
Our Monthly meetings are currently held at the McBoyle Hall in Portknockie on the third Wednesday of the month, between September and May.
There is normally a guest speaker and tea/coffee and biscuits/home-bakes. Come along and see us, you can be sure of a warm welcome. Go to the Events page for full details.
For more detail about us, Membership details or to request a Membership application form go to the Contact page.
